Learning Latvian Online

There are many reasons for learning a language. Surface languages is designed for beginners who are starting to learn Latvian, and don't have much time. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with other language resources.

Why learn phrases?

More and more of us travel more frequently and to different countries, and with this it ceases to be possible to achieve fluency in all the countries that you will visit. This is particularly true when passing a few days only in a smaller country such as Latvia, with a language which is not widely spoken outside of the country. But this doesn't mean that you can't learn enough Latvian (for example) to be polite, to communicate, to ask for a drink or to order food and so on.
